Box Score WAYNE, NJ – The Rowan University women's soccer team won 4-0 at conference opponent William Paterson University on Saturday.
Midfielder
Megan Carchidi (so. Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Reg.) led the way with two goals and one assist. Midfielder/forward
Melissa Kelly (fr. Parsippany, NJ/DePaul Catholic) and forward
Erika Suhl (sr. Brick, NJ/Brick Mem.) each contributed with a goal. Midfielder
Victoria Camera (sr. Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton W.) recorded three assists.
Goalkeeper
Carleigh Trivino (so. Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell) posted her sixth shutout on the season. The Profs are 10-3-1 overall and 5-1-1 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The Pioneers have a 4-8-3 record with a 1-6 conference mark. For William Paterson, goalie Angela Sandelli (fr. Landing, NJ/Roxbury) stopped nine shots.
All of the scoring came in the second half. Carchidi headed in a cross from Camera at 46:35 for the first goal. Her second tally (49:24) was also assisted by Camera. Kelly hit the net (59:14) and Camera registered her third assist. Suhl scored at 78:30 on a feed from Carchidi.
