Box Score MADISON, NJ – The Rowan University men's soccer team lost 3-2 at FDU-Florham on Saturday afternoon in non-conference action. The Profs are now 6-4 overall, while the Devils have a mark of 6-3-1.

Midfielder Parker Oris (jr. Bayville, NJ/Central Reg.) put Rowan on the board first at 10:24, scoring off a pass from forward/midfielder Vinny Ignatowicz (fr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River S.). Forward Ryan Hurdes (sr. Succasunna, NJ/Roxbury) then scored two straight for FDU-Florham and a 2-1 lead. He scored off an assist from defender Andrew Ruane (fr. Parsippany, NJ) at 20:24 then hit the back of the net at 41:34, unassisted.

Midfielder Chaz Armand (so. Atlanta, GA/Westlake) put the Devils up 3-1 with an assist from midfielder Dylan Meyler (fr. Somerdale, NJ) at 53:51. Forward/midfielder Dylan Smith (sr. Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) made the score 3-2 at the 63:20 mark, scoring an unassisted goal.

Rowan goalie Ryan Gill (sr. West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford) made five saves that included stopping a penalty kick. FDU-Florham keeper Nick Mihalik (fr. Wayne, NJ) stopped four shots.

The Profs return home to face conference opponent Richard Stockton College on Wednesday, October 2 at 7:30 p.m.
