GLASSBORO, NJ - Evan Vilaboy scored two goals and Luca Ercolano had a goal and two assists to lead #4 Rowan to a 4-0 win over Arcadia (2-3-2) in men's soccer action, improving the Profs to 6-0-1 on the year.
 
Rowan struck right away, just eight minutes in, when Ercolano sent a short pass to Giancarlo Garay outside the box and the junior beat the Arcadia keeper to the right. It was the first career goal for Garay.
 
Ercolano had a hand in the second goal two minutes later. After a misplay by the keeper, the freshman collected the ball and took a shot that hit the left post, but Evan Vilaboy was right there to tap it in, at 10:28.
 
The Profs held that 2-0 lead until the final five minutes of the match, when Ercolano took a long through ball from Tanner Grozinski and scored from close range for his first career goal in the 87th minute.  
 
Vilaboy closed things out in the final seconds with a goal from 10 yards out, with the assist from Grozinski, for his first multiple goal game as a Prof.
 
Mike Moore made two saves to record his fifth solo shutout of the season and sixth overall while the Profs outshot the Knights, 16-3.
 
The Profs take to the road on Saturday when they visit Alvernia before opening defense of their NJAC title at TCNJ on September 30.
