#3 Men's Soccer Plays to a 1-1 Draw with TCNJ in the NJAC Opener

Kurak scores the Profs' lone goal

EWING, NJ - Joey Kurak scored the lone goal for Rowan as the #3 Profs tied TCNJ, 1-1, in the conference opener for both teams. The defending NJAC Champions are now 6-0-2 on the season.

Kurak's goal opened the scoring in the contest. Luke McNamee worked a give-and-go with Christian McGillen on the sideline and then McNamee carried it into the box and sent a short centering pass to Kurak, who popped it up into the net at 27:17. It was the junior's second goal of the year.

Rowan held the 1-0 lead until TCNJ (4-0-5) tied the match in the 39th minute on a goal by Brennan Libo.

Mike Moore made three saves in the net for Rowan and TCNJ's goal marked the first one he had given up since September 9, a stretch of six games.

Rowan plays its conference home opener on Saturday evening when it hosts William Paterson at 6 p.m.
