Box Score KEENE, NH – The Rowan University men’s soccer team lost to Brandeis University, 2-1 on the second day of the Xara Soccer Classic. 

Forward/midfielder Michael Soboff put the Judges up 1-0 with an unassisted goal at 19:42.  With 3:45 left in the game, midfielder Kyle Feather scored the second goal and forward Sam Ocel had the assist.  A minute later, forward Christian Fountain (jr. Fredericksburg, VA/Stafford) spoiled the shutout with an assist from forward/midfielder Vinny Ignatowicz (fr. Toms River, NJ/Toms River S.).  

Brandeis took 23 shots while Rowan had 10.  The Judges’ goalkeeper Joe Graffy made one save. Prof goalie Ryan Gill (sr. West Deptford, NJ/West Deptford) stopped seven shots.
 
In the second game on Sunday, Hobart College shut out host Keene State College, 3-0.  On Saturday, Rowan won with a penalty kick, 1-0 against Hobart and Brandeis edged Keene State,  3-2.
