Box Score SALISBURY, MD – The Rowan University field hockey team lost at seventh ranked Salisbury University, 3-0 on Wednesday evening.

The Sea Gulls are 7-2 overall while the Profs are 4-5 on the season.  Forward Courtney Jantzen (so. Cockeysville, MD/Dulaney) scored the first goal at 17:14.  She hit the cage with one touch on a pass from forward Yumi Kim (fr. Odenton, MD/Meade).

Jantzen produced a second goal at 52:40.  She hit the left side after a long pass into the circle by forward Samantha Johnson (so. Delmar, MD/Delmar).  With 25 seconds left, back Katie Hastings (sr. Elkton, MD/Elkton) blasted a shot outside the circle and the ball deflected off a Profs' player into the cage. 

Rowan goalie Steph Colombo (sr. Moorestown, NJ/Camden Catholic) recorded 23 saves.  Salisbury goalie Rachel Clewer (jr. Elkton, MD/North East) made three saves.

Next, the Profs host number one ranked Montclair State University on Saturday, October 5 at 1 p.m.
