Forward Tyson Hartnett (jr. Medford, NJ/Shawnee) led the men’s basketball team to a 2-1 week. Against Widener University (Dec. 10), Hartnett recorded 17 points and nine rebounds. In the first round of the Heritage’s Dairy Stores Classic versus Berkeley College (Dec. 12), he had seven points, five boards and four assists. Hartnett closed out the week with a career-high 37 points in the tournament championship against Valley Forge Christian College (Dec. 13). He was named the Heritage’s Dairy Stores Classic Most Valuable Player and earned New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Player of the Week honors. He currently leads the Profs with 16.0 points (ppg) and 6.3 rebounds per game (rpg).
