Right-hander Jamie Minix (so. Clarksboro, NJ/Kingsway Reg.) went 2-0 for the softball team last week. At New Jersey City University (Apr. 6), she pitched six innings, allowing just two hits. Minix struck out five hitters. Against Montclair State University (Apr. 10), she surrendered two hits in five innings. For her performance, Minix was named the NJAC Pitcher of the Week. This season, she is 9-3 with a 1.51 earned run average and a team-high 53 strikeouts.
