Guard Brynn DeGroff (jr. Wildwood Crest, NJ/Wildwood) helped Rowan win its season opening tournament. At the Rose City Classic, DeGroff had 11 points, seven steals and three assists in Rowan’s first round win over John Jay College (Nov. 17). In the championship game against host Drew University, DeGroff compiled 16 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two assists. She was selected the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. DeGroff is the Profs’ leading scorer with 13.5 points per game. She is also first on the team with 10 steals.
