At the NJAC Indoor Track Championships, Jamie Thompson (fr. Monmouth Jct., NJ/South Brunswick) won two individual events. She captured first place in the 55 meter hurdles (8.40) and the long jump with 17’ 0.25” (5.19 meters). Her time in the hurdles tied the school record she set at the Collegiate Track Conference (CTC) Championships (Feb. 12). It was also better than the NCAA provisional (8.55). Thompson finished seventh in the 200 meters (27.32). She was named the NJAC Rookie of the Week for the third time this season.
