GLASSBORO, NJ -- The New Jersey Athletic Conference announced its NJAC Women's Volleyball Preseason Coaches Poll where Rowan was tabbed fourth.

The Profs, who went 25-6 and 7-1 in conference play last season, sit behind William Paterson in third, Stockton in second, and Kean in first. The Cougars picked up seven of the nine first-place votes with WPU reigning in two votes.

Montclair State was selected fifth, NJAC newcomer New Paltz was named the dark horse in sixth. Ramapo, Rutgers-Camden, and Rutgers-Newark round out the nine-team poll respectively.

New head coach and Rowan alum Casey Burford gets the 2026 season underway next Tuesday against Franklin & Marshall in Esby Gymnasium in a 7 p.m. first serve. From there, the Profs head to Virginia Wesleyan Labor Day weekend for the Marlin Invitational for four games.
