Elaina Corson scored the final two goals of the game to push #18 Rowan women's lacrosse past #13 Franklin & Marshall, 12-10, capping the Profs' rally from an early deficit. It was the Profs' second consecutive win over the nationally-ranked Diplomats, while improving their record to 7-2.

Corson scored three goals as did
Alexis Lowry and
Fiona Lockhart to lead Rowan.
Kylie Durboraw made 10 saves as F&M outshot the Profs by a slim 30-27 margin.

F&M (2-6) tied the game, 10-10, at the start of the fourth quarter, but Corson came through with the gamewinner, Â scoring off a pass from Lowry at 5:04 to give Rowan the 11-10 lead. The senior then iced the game with an unassisted tally with 1:35 to play.

Franklin & Marshall took a quick 4-0 lead in the opening four minutes, but the Profs scored three in a row, starting with a goal by
Madison Rothwein at 10:10 of the first quarter. Lockhart and
Yasmin Harris followed suit, and after F&M increased its lead to 5-3, Corson scored the final goal of the quarter to pull Rowan within, 5-4.

Lowry, Â Lockhart and
Trish Gillen each scored a goal apiece in the second quarter but the Profs trailed, 8-7, at halftime.

In the third quarter, Lowry tied the game at 8-8 with a goal at 10:16. F&M inched ahead again, but Lowry again tied it, 9-9, with 5:33 remaining. Lockhart then gave the Profs a 10-9 lead with her unassisted goal with 4:34 left in the period. Â

Rowan gets a rare weekend off before returning to action on Tuesday, March 31 when it hosts Catholic at 4 p.m.
