NEW ORLEANS, LA -- For the second time this season,
Seth Clevenger was named the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III Men's Track & Field National Athlete of the Week.
Clevenger, who was
named the NJAC Men's Track & Field Track Athlete of the Week for the third time in four weeks, had a major hand in two new school records over the weekend.
First at the Boston University Valentine Invitational on Friday, he clocked a new program best and new Division III all-time record (13:32.09). At the Tufts Cupid Challenge the following day, he joined
Blaik Slavinski,
Matthew Niedbalski, and
Teddy Wilson in the distance medley relay for a new school mark and the new #1 Division III time this season (9:53.19).
The third-ranked men's track & field team heads to the NJAC Championships this Saturday and Sunday at the Ott Center on the campus of the University of Penn.
