A Pair of School Records Go Down to Cap Men's Track & Field Action

GLASSBORO, NJ – A pair of school records went down on Saturday to spotlight the Rowan Men's Track & Field Team competed at the Dr. Sander Scorcher hosted by Columbia at the NYC Armory and the McElligott Invitational at Haverford.

RESULTS (Columbia) | RESULTS (Haverford)

Seth Clevenger broke his second school record at the same meet in as many days, hitting a new program time in the mile (4:02.76). The time is a new Division III top mark as well as the 14th fastest in DIII history. The previous best was 4:11.05 set in 2024 (Scott Hubbard).

Anthony Parker topped out at 7.35 meters in the long jump to break the old result by just .01 meters (7.34) established in 2023 (Amir Johnson). The freshman now owns the #3 mark in D3 as well.

Some Columbia notes:

- David Brown claimed a new top DIII mark in the high jump (2.11 meters)

- Teddy Wilson ran the #3 NJAC time in the 800 meters (1:55.05)

Haverford highlights:

- Chace Pearson won the high jump with a winning result of 6.66 meters

- Tyler Raimondi claimed the pole vault (4.40 meters)

- Josh Caudill nearly tied a PR in the shot, with his second-best indoor effort (15.03 meters)

The squad will head back to the Ocean Breeze Complex this Friday for the METS Championships.
