NEW YORK, NY –
Seth Clevenger ran the third-best all-time result in the 3000 meters in Division III and new program record in Friday's action at the Dr. Sander Scorcher at the NYC Armory hosted by Columbia. The throws crew was in competition at Haverford's McElligott Invitational.

Clevenger, an Iowa State transfer competing in his first meet as a Prof, clocked in at 7:54.87 for the new #1 time in DIII and became the second person to hit sub-eight minutes in the event. His time breaks the old program record of 8:15.29 set in 2018 (Kevin Veltre).
Other highlights from Friday:

Teddy Wilson improved on his 800 meter time (1:55.05), to move into the top 25 in DIII
- In the 60 meter hurdle finals,
Kwaku Nkrumah was third (8.08),
Eric Foster in fourth (8.12), and
Val Augustin in eighth (8.50)
- The weight throw was held at Widener where
Josh Caudill (14.82 meters) and Paris Hamiln (14.50) both hit PR's in the event
