ITHACA, NY -- #4 Rowan sits in a tie for second place after the first day of the All-Atlantic Region Conference Championship where the team added some NCAA qualifying marks.

UPDATED RESULTS

The Profs and York (Pa.) have amassed 20 points, 12 behind first-place SUNY-Geneseo. Colby is in fourth (16 points) and Utica is in fifth (13 points).

Friday's highlights:

- In the 60 meter hurdles prelims, Jason Agyemang turned in a #2 DIII and PR time of 7.87; Kwaku Nkrumah also hit a PR (7.89) with Marquise Young (7.95), Jamir Brown (7.97), and Michael Lawrence (8.15) moving on to the finals

- Masai Byrd ran a #12 Division III time in the 60 meter preliminaries (6.82) and will race in the finals on Saturday

- Matthew Conway ran 15:03.31 in the 5000 meters where he was seocnd

- Nana Agyemang was fourth in the long jump (6.97 meters)

- Tyler Raimondi finished in a tie for sixth in the pole vault (4.46 meters)
