WAYNE, NJ -- Rowan had its three-game win streak snapped as the Profs fell, 76-44, at William Paterson on Saturday in a New Jersey Athletic Conference matchup.
Jes Mastriano and
Abigail Jazmin each had nine points to lead Rowan.Â
Jada Jacobs led the Pioneers with 16 points, seven rebounds, and five assists, all game highs. She hit three of the team's nine three-pointers on the day as well.
Mastriano and
Natalia Barrera netted four points apiece to help get the Profs to an 18-14 lead after the first stanza. William Paterson answered in the second as Jacobs netted seven points in the frame as part of a 23-9 quarter giving the home team a 37-27 lead at the half. From there, the Pioneers outscored Rowan, 18-5, in the third to open up a sizable advantage.
Barrera (five points) and
Haley Selmer pulled down five rebounds apiece.
The Profs play its last game of the calendar year on Tuesday, December 30th at Stevens.
