Johns Hopkins (2-1) expanded on that and even though Cantey cut the deficit to 76-73, at :22, the Profs couldn't convert in the final seconds and Logan Feller iced the game with a pair of free throws at :02.

It was a tight game throughout the second half as the teams traded leads and the Profs' six-point margin was the biggest lead of the period, until the Blue Jays' winning margin.

The Profs shot 45.8 percent for the game, and although hitting 5-of-9 from three-point range in the first half, were just 1-for-7 in the second half. Johns Hopkins won the battle of the boards, with a 46-33 advantage.
