GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan hit a season-best .425 as the Profs won in three sets over Rutgers-Camden (25-10, 25-11, 25-14) Thursday evening in a New Jersey Athletic Conference matchup.
Abby Chadwick led the home squad with a match-high 10 kills as Rowan put down a 38-7-73 team hitting line on the night. The victory also keep the Profs in the hunt for the top playoff seed as the regular season heads down the stretch.
Gabriella Cooper posted team-highs of 11 digs and three aces and
Jena Kaul kicked in nine kills and seven digs.
Up 1-0, the Profs ran off a 9-1 spurt capped with a kill from Kaul to close out the second set. Chadwick helped to lock up the sweep as she posted six of her 10 kills in the third set alone.
The Scarlet Raptors totaled 18 kills led by Gabby Gholahan's team-high five.
Rowan will head to Misericordia on Saturday for a tri-match against the host Cougars and Albright.
