Ryan Cleary's second-half goal gave Rowan a 2-2 tie with #20 Montclair State in an NJAC men's soccer battle on Homecoming and Senior Night. The Profs are 9-2-4, and 2-2-1 in the conference.

Trailing 2-1 in the second half, the Profs had a number of good chances but Cleary capitalized. He blasted a free kick from 20 yards out over the Montclair State (11-1-3; 4-1-1) wall at 64:16. It was his second goal of the season.
Neither team scored the rest of the way, while Rowan goalkeeper
Travis Holiday thwarted a few Red Hawk attempts, and finished the evening with four saves.

Montclair State struck first, at 15:11, on a goal by Kenet Lopez. The Profs tied the game, 1-1, at 24:02 when
Johnny Troiano sent a free kick in the box,
Christian McGillen headed it towards goal and Schlotterbeck knocked it in. It was Schlotterbeck's second goal of the week.

The score remained 1-1 throughout the rest of the first half. Â Montclair State broke the tie in the second half, by taking advantage of a Rowan foul in the box. Sebastian Lapczynski converted the penalty kick at 50:31 to give the Red Hawks a 2-1 lead.
