GLASSBORO, NJ -
Evan Schlotterbeck's goal in the 87th minute lifted Rowan to a 1-0 win over Stockton in an NJAC men's soccer battle this evening. The victory broke an 0-1-2 stretch for the Profs over the last three games improving them to 9-3-3 and 2-2-1 in the conference. Rowan also handed Stockton (8-4-3; 3-1-1) its first conference loss of the year.
Travis Holiday earned the victory in goal for Rowan as he made six saves to post his first shutout at Rowan.Â

The winning goal was set up as
Christian McGillen crossed it and
Luke McNamee settled the pass for Schlotterbeck, who stepped in and connected from inside the box into the right corner of the net at 87:39. It was the graduate student's first goal at Rowan.

The match was even throughout, with both teams having their chances but not being able to break through with a goal. The teams were tied in shots, 12-12, with Rowan having the very narrow 6-5 margin in corner kicks.

Rowan has another critical conference matchup on Saturday night, on the University's Homecoming Weekend and Senior Night, when the Profs host #20 Montclair State at 7 p.m.
