GLASSBORO, NJ -- The Rowan Men's Track & Field Team took part in two events this weekend beginning on Friday with the Widener Winter Evening Invite at Penn's Ott Center on Friday and at the two-day Dr. Sander Invitational hosted by Columbia at the NYC Armory.

Some highlights from Friday's action at the Widener Winter Evening Invite:

Tyler Raimondi jumped into the NCAA Division III Top 50 (27th) of the pole vault with his third-best indoor mark, 4.55 meters, which was tops at the meet

Josh Caudill notched PR's in two events, the weight throw (13.64 meters) and the shot (14.89 meters)

Michael Nwankwo topped out at 15.12 meters in the shot, good for a #43 NCAA mark

Jamile Gantt was second in the high jump (2.03 meters)

James Coleman ran his second-fastest indoor time in the 200 meters (22.30) where he placed fifth

Hunter Hughes eclipsed a PR in the 5000 meters (15:55.62)

Rajahn Dixon scored two Division III top 50 marks, first in the 200 meters (21.88) to land at #18 and in the 400 meters (49.11) for the #26 spot. Dixon finished second in the latter event with
Samael Milevoix in third (49.25)

Joshua Cason hitting a #21 DIII time and a PR in the 3000 meters (8:27.51)
The team will return to action on Friday at the METS Championships held at the Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island, NY.
