Kate Herlihy scored 13 points and led a balanced scoring effort as Rowan defeated Ramapo, 73-44. in an NJAC women's basketball matchup today. The Profs improve to 9-5 and 5-2 in the conference.

Herlihy made 3-of-6 three-pointers on the day while grabbing seven rebounds.
Abigail Jazmin scored nine points and
Cornysha Davis picked up a game-high nine rebounds while shooting 3-for-4 from the field.
The Profs opened up the game by going on a 15-5 run in the first quarter, ending in a three from Herlihy, as they took a 21-9 lead with :52 left. Rowan connected on 42 percent from the field en route to building up the double-digit lead.
Rowan outscored Ramapo (2-13; 1-6), 10-2, to start the second quarter, helped by two Herlihy three-pointers to extend the lead to 34-13. Even though the Profs cooled off, hitting just 2-of-11 from three-point range, Rowan still held a 36-20 halftime lead.
The Profs pulled away even more in the third quarter as they scored 15 unanswered points. Jazmin had five points and
Jes Mastriano scored four in the stretch that increased the home team's lead to 51-21.
In the fourth, Rowan achieved its biggest margin of the game, 64-27, with 6:48 remaining.
Rowan is home again on Wednesday, January 15 when the Profs host Stockton at 5:30 p.m.
