Calista Burke,
Fiona Lockhart and
Molly Green all tallied three goals on the day but it wasn't enough as Rowan lost a 16-15 nailbiter at #17 Stevens. Rowan, which received votes in this week's IWLCA Top 25,  fell to 2-1 on the season while Stevens improved to 4-0.

Green and Lockhart each picked up one assist as well.
Trish Gillen scored two goals and recorded two assists while
Elaina Corson had two goals and two assists of her own. Rylee O'Brien and
Hannah Lombardo each tacked on a goal apiece.
Mel Rodgers made eight saves in net for the Profs.

With Rowan trailing 15-11 heading into the final quarter, Gillen opened the scoring before Green added two goals, cutting the Stevens' lead to 15-14 with just over six minutes left. But Zoe Clark netted her fourth goal of the game with 4:36 to put the Ducks up by 16-14. Lockhart scored off a pass from Gillen with 1:49 remaining to pull the Profs within one goal, but Rowan was unable to convert on its final possession as time expired.

Gillen opened the scoring in the first quarter with a goal just 58 seconds into the game. The two teams traded goals before a Corson goal sparked a 3-0 run by the Profs to end the quarter up, 6-4.

Rowan continued to find the back of the net in the beginning of the second quarter as score by Lombardo gave the Profs their biggest lead of the game, 9-4. Stevens began to climb back, scoring four unanswered goals to cut the Profs' lead to 9-8 going into the half.
Stevens controlled the third quarter, rattling off five unanswered goals to start. Burke's goal for the Profs with 3:47 to go ended the 9-0 run for Stevens, but Rowan still found itself trailing 15-11 going into the final quarter.

The Profs have a chance to get back in the win column on Wednesday as they host Washington (MD) at 4 p.m.
