MADISON, NJ –
Molly Green scored four goals and
Elaina Corson and
Hannah Lombardo had three each to lead the Rowan women's lacrosse team to a season-opening 19-6 win at Drew (0-2).
Green added one assist on the day with Corson picking up two.

Alexis Lowry had two goals each for the Profs (1-0).
Trish Gillen posted a goal and assist in the game while newcomers
Olivia Wisor and
Amelia Govern had one goal each.
Lombardo scored the Profs' first goal of the season 30 seconds into the contest, followed by goals from
Calista Burke and Corson to give Rowan a 3-0 lead. Corson added another and Green had two, with
Trish Gillen rounding out the scoring as the Profs owned a 7-2 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Rowan (1-0) tallied five straight goals to begin the second period, with scores from Lombardo, Green,
Fiona Lockhart and a pair of man-down tallies from freshman
Alexis Lowry, for her first collegiate goals. Green and Burke each added one more and Rowan held a commanding 14-3 advantage at halftime.
The third period saw Lombardo pick up her fourth of the game, with Corson and Lockhart also chipping in one apiece, and Rowan led, 17-4.
Rowan closed out the game with two goals in the fourth from Wisor and Govern, which marked the first goals of their careers.
Mel Rodgers made the second start of her career in goal and made 10 saves with freshman
Kylie Durboraw entering the game in the fourth quarter and making one save.
The Profs will play their first home game of the season on Saturday when they host Ursinus at 1 p.m.
