STATEN ISLAND, NY -- #7 Rowan Men's Indoor Track & Field bulldozed its way to its ninth conference crown as the Profs won the 2024 NJAC Championship on Monday afternoon at the Ocean Breeze Complex as the team took home nine first-place finishes en route to the largest point total in the history of the event.
Rowan rolled up 297 team points, breaking the old mark of 280. TCNJ placed second with 113 points and Stockton in third with 78.

Rowan's first-place finishes included:

Amara Conte claiming the 400 meters in a time of 48.54 as the Profs claimed six of the top seven spots in the event

Kwaku Nkrumah putting down a school record and #2 NCAA Division III time in the 60 meter hurdles (7.93)

Damarion Potts in the high jump, where his mark of 2.04 meters ranks him 10th in Division III; Jamile Gannt was second, hitting a top 30 DIII mark of 2.01 meters

Nana Agyemang capturing the long jump for the second-straight year (6.95 meters)

Joshua Cason in the 5000 meters (8:45.25)

Scott Hubbard in the 800 meters (1:53.78) which was an indoor and outdoor PR

Shane Vostenak in the 5000 meters (15:02.23) for the second year in a row

Next up for the Profs is a last chance meet back here at Ocean Breeze this Friday. The following weekend, the team will participate in the AARTFC Regional Championships in Rochester, NY. Selections to the 2024 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championship will take place on March 3rd.
