BOSTON, MA – Rowan hurdlers
Jason Agyemang and
Kwaku Nkrumah turned in some of the team's best performances as the Profs competed at both the Valentine Invitational in Boston and the Big Apple Invitational in Staten Island.
In Boston, Agyemang finished sixth overall in the 60m hurdles as he clocked an 8.11, which is one of the best times in NCAA Division III. Teammate Nkrumah ran the same time at the meet in Staten Island as he won the event.
The Profs' 4x400 relay of
Jason Agyemang,
Marquise Young,
Nana Agyemang and
Amara Conte finished second overall in Boston as they ran a 3:12.39, which is the second best time in Division III.
Conte clocked a 47.80 to place 10th in the 400 meters, which ranks as the sixth best time in Division III and
Nana Agyemang placed third in the long jump.
Rowan heads to the 2024 NJAC Indoor Track & Field Championships next Monday, February 19th as the Profs will look to capture their ninth consecutive conference title. The meet will be held at the Ocean Breeze Complex in Staten Island.
