UNION, NJ -- Rowan took down Kean, 3-1 (21-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-15), Tuesday evening in a quarterfinal match of the 2024 New Jersey Athletic Conference Volleyball Tournament.
With the win, the fifth-seeded Profs advance to the semifinal round on Thursday at top-seeded William Paterson in a 7 p.m. start.

Jena Kaul, and
Ciara Bradley each posted 13 kills to pace the Profs. For Bradley, it was a career high for the sophomore as Rowan hit .223 (59-22-166) for the contest.
After the Cougars took the first set, 25-21, Rowan ran off three-straight wins including registering a .316 hitting percentage (32-7-79) over the final two sets to move to the next round.
Leading 23-15 in the second, a late 6-0 run by Kean was thwarted as Rowan used a Cougar service error followed by a
Gabriella Cooper ace to knot things up at 1-1.
Rowan ran off to a 6-0 lead to start the third set, getting two kills and two aces from
Abby Chadwick in that spurt. The visitors kept Kean at bey the rest of the way to go up 2-1 into the fourth.
In that fourth, Kaul came alive with six kills while Iovacchini and Bradley added four apiece as the Profs concocted a 15-6 lead to help put away the Cougars for good.
Chadwick would finish with six kills, three aces, and a personal best 13 digs.
Brooke Adams added 11 digs and 49 assists for a double double.
For fourth-seeded Kean, Taylor Micheaux led the squad with 13 kills and teammate Aspen O'Brien recorded 35 assists and 11 digs.
