CAMDEN, NJ -- Rowan powered its way to a 68-54 New Jersey Athletic Conference win at Rutgers-Camden Wednesday evening behind 14 points from Kristina Johnson and 11 from Sabrina Araujo.

The duo each hit three three-pointers on the night as Johnson was 5-of-9 from the floor and Araujo added a career-high six rebounds. Nicole Mallard kicked in six points, four assists, and three boards as the Profs inch closer to securing a playoff berth.

Rahzirah Blockker and A'yanna Morton each had 12 points for the Scarlet Raptors.

Leading 18-17 after the first quarter, Rowan limited Rutgers-Camden to seven points in the stanza, helping turn a one-point lead to a 35-24 advantage at the break.

The Profs turned in a game-changing 18-3 run in the third capped by Johnson's triple to give the visitors its largest lead of the contest (53-27) with three minutes remaining in the quarter. The Scarlet Raptors would get as close as 56-42 off a trifecta from Morton with 6:44 to go, but Rowan would hold that double-digit lead the rest of the way in evening its NJAC record to 7-7 this year.
