GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan's distance medley relay team highlighted competition with a top Division III time on the first day at the Dr. Sander Columbia University Challenge on Friday at NYC Armory. Additionally, the Profs had competitors at Haverford's Seamus McElligott Invitational in the throwing events.
At the NYC Armory, the distance medley relay team of
Johannes Rivera,
Samael Milevoix,
Teddy Wilson, and
Scott Hubbard ran a 10:15.23 to rank #1 in DIII as the foursome was fourth overall.

Some tidbits from New York City:
- In the 60 meter preliminaries,
Shamar Love and
Evan Corcoran both clocked in at 7.06 with
Elijah Hendricks at 7.12, but the trio did not qualify for Saturday final

Nana Agyemang took 12th in the long jump (6.89 meters), while
Damarion Potts was 20th (6.71 meters)
- The 60 meter hurdles prelims saw
Anaias Hughes (8.17) and
Jason Agyemang (8.29) hit PRs;
Marquise Young stopped the clock at 8.12 but was two spots off from a top 8 finish for the finals as he was tenth

Branden Satterwhite was sixth in the triple jump with a top mark of 14.09 meters
Tomorrow, the team will have entries in the 200 meters, mile run, high jump, and the 4x400 relay.
At Haverford:

Krish Patel hit a PR in the shot (14.29 meters) as he finished fourth; Â
Josh Caudill was fifth (13.81m), and
Vincent LaMonaca was sixth (11.27m)
