GLASSBORO, NJ-- Rowan's Women's Indoor Track & Field was in action in two events over the weekend, the first at the Collegeville Classic at Ursinus and at the Villanova Invitational (at Ocean Breeze in Staten Island, NY).

At Ursinus , the Profs finished sixth overall of 13 scoring teams, finishing with 32 points.
Some tidbits from Ursinus:

Brianna DeSanto (8.46) and
Mya Walker (8.65) advanced to the finals of the 60 meters, where the pair turned in a sixth and eighth place finish.

Ava Rizzo was fifth in the 800 meters (2:27.10)

Emily Zanni took fourth in the mile run (5:32.56)

Jenna Spadaro earned a team point with her eighth-place result in the 3000 meters (12:33.62)
At the Villanova Invite, the 4x400 relay of
Kat Pedersen,
Jasmine Pope,
Molly Lodge, and
Nevaeh Lorjuste clocked in at 4:08.96 to place 13th.
Rowan will be back at it next weekend in two events sending competitors to the Columbia University Challenge, that takes place on Friday and Saturday at the NYC Armory, and at the Seamus McElligott Invitational hosted by Haverford on Saturday.
