Jones Secures All-American Honor in the 60 Meter Hurdles on Final Day of NCAA Indoor Championships

BIRMINGHAM, AL -- Nyla Jones set a program record in the 60 meter hurdles en route to an All-American honor in the final day of the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

FINAL RESULTS

The sophomore ran 8.67 in the finals to place sixth and earn an All-American nod. She becomes the 26th student-athlete in program history to take home an All-America honor. The time breaks the old mark of 8.68 set in 2019 (Aspen McMillan).

The sixth-place finish gave the Profs three team points, where the squad finished in a tie for 47th.

Jones joined Gabriella Pagano as the lone Rowan representatives at the championships. Pagano raced in the 5000 meters on Friday where she placed 19th.

Washington University claimed the team title with a total of 54 points. Williams was second with 44 points with Centre in third with 43.
