Women's Track & Field Wraps Up AARTFC Championships with Personal Bests in Four Events

NEW YORK, NY -- Rowan finished the two-day AARTFC Regional Championships at The NYC Armory in 31st place, producing personal bests for four student-athletes

FINAL RESULTS

The Profs totaled seven points with SUNY-Geneseo claiming the team title with 82 points. Ithaca was second with 70 and Rochester was third with 43.

Friday's action included:

- Shannon Stakelbeck produced a PR in the 5000 meters (17:37.61) where she placed sixth

- Denirah Jones placed fifth in the long jump, as the freshman hit a season-best result (5.64 meters)

Saturday's highlights:

- Paige Franklin stopped the clock at 25.85 for a season and personal best

- Lisa O'Sullivan timed a 2:17.20 in the 800 meters for a new PR

Selections to the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships will be announced Sunday evening. The Profs look to have both Gabriella Pagano (5000 meters) and Nyla Jones (60 meter hurdles) in the mix. The championship meet takes place March 13 and 14 from the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.
