PISCATAWAY, NJ -- Action at the 2023 Metropolitan Conference Championship continued as day three showcased more strong performances from the men's swimming team.

Jack Watson made it the second day the team had another school record broken as he took the 100 Backstroke with a NCAA B Cut time of 47.54.
Justin Goglia solidified a third-place finish (51.44).

Michael Fracchiolla tagged an NCAA B Cut time of 55.46, also a personal best, in the 100 breast, placing third.
Jimmy Kundrats was fifth (56.41).
Alex Volin (1:40:52) hit a season best in the 200 free finals to place third.
Tobias Cahnbley was fourth (1:41.32). Â
Joe Rucci came up just shy of a first-place finish, clocking a personal-best time of 49.77 in the 100 Butterfly. Teammates
Kevin Yanagisawa (51.00) and
Henry Lynch (51.18) both finished inside the top 10 in the finals.
In the 400 IM,
Rocco Evangelista took seventh place (4:08:61) in the finals with
T.J. Moderski in tenth (4:11:12). Â

Paul Riter finished in second place in the 200 medley relay, getting an NCAA B cut time of 1:30.09.
