Men's Swimming Takes Fourth Place at NJAC Championships

HAMPTON, VA -- Rowan totaled 913 points in a fourth-place finish as the 2025-26 New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships at the Hampton Aquaplex wrapped up on Sunday.

FINAL RESULTS

TCNJ (1709 points) captured the team title for the fourth year in a row, holding off second-place Salisbury (1319). Merchant Marine was third (1071), followed by Mary Washington in fifth (796), Roger Williams (550.5) in sixth, Montclair State (532.5) on seventh, Ramapo (274) in eighth and William Paterson (175) in ninth.

Tidbits from Sunday's action:

- Braden Sheehan won his fourth medal and his first gold of the meet with a win in the 200 backstroke (1:47.56), adding his third individual NCAA 'B' Cut of four-day championship

- Gavin Danze clocked in a personal best in the 1650 free and earned an NCAA 'B' Cut (15:46.01) where he was third; it was his third career medal in the event; Juilan Huynh took seventh with a career best time (16:09.94)

- Patrick Clemente notched a seventh-place finish and career fastest time in the 200 breaststroke (2:04.08)

Several Profs are in the mix for selections to the Division III Swimming Championship.  (Wednesday-Saturday, March 18-21). The complete list of qualifiers will be announced on Tuesday, February 26th
