CARLISLE, PA -- Rowan powered past Dickinson, 3-1 (12-25, 26-24, 25-23, 28-26), Tuesday night in a non-conference affair.

After dropping the first set, the Profs battled through 16 ties and 10 lead changes in the final three which were all won by two points each. Rowan had 57 kills on the night, the most in four-set matches this season, with 22 coming in the final and deciding set.

Down 1-0 in the second set, the Profs faced a 24-23 score, but kills from Maya Iovacchini was part of a three-point spurt, to help even the contest at a set apiece.

The Red Devils looked to use a late rally in the third set, as the Profs held a late 24-20 lead. After three Dickinson points in a row, Kaul ended things with a kill for a 2-1 lead.

In the fourth set, the Profs got out to leads of 5-0 and later, 14-7. Now up 21-15, the Red Devils ran off a 9-2 stretch to take a 24-23 edge. Rowan would wrestle the lead back, turning away match-point three times, as kills from Kaul and Kyra Hissner helped wrap up the contest.

Rowan is back in action on Thursday when Ramapo visits for a New Jersey Athletic Conference showdown here at Esbjornson Gymnasium on Senior Night starting at 7 p.m.
