NEWARK, NJ -- Rowan improved to 4-0 in NJAC play with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-14) win at Rutgers-Newark Tuesday night.
The team posted its best hitting percentage so far this season (.250), as the squad totaled a 34-12-88 line on the evening.
Natalie Ogden,
Courtney Rhoden,
Brianna Newson, and
Jena Kaul each had six kills to lead the Profs.
Rowan led from start to finish in the first set and ran out to a 19-5 lead in the second. The third set saw another fast start (5-1) where the Profs closed it out on a 10-4 run to move to 14-2 this season.
For the Scarlet Raiders, Kaiel Maynor registered nine kills and 11 digs.
The Profs are back in action on Tuesday as William Paterson visits for a NJAC matchup here at Esby Gymnasium beginning at 7 p.m.
