GLASSBORO, NJ -- The Rowan University Football Team will make its 2022 season debut this Saturday at Widener in a 1 p.m. kickoff.

The Profs continue play the following Saturday with a contest at Springfield. After a bye week, Rowan welcomes Salve Regina in the home opener here at Coach Richard Wackar Stadium on Saturday, September 24th. Also on the slate are two Friday night home games, first an NJAC showdown with The College of New Jersey on October 8th, and the regular season finale against New England on November 11th. Three of the final four games to close out the year will be in Glassboro.
The offense welcomes back a slew of all-conference picks from a year ago including first-team selections in wide receiver
John Maldonado and running back
James Fara. Maldonado was the conference leader in receptions (64) and second in both receiving yards (888) and touchdowns (7). Fara led the conference in rushing yards per game (82.9 ypg). Quarterback
Mike Husni and offensive lineman
Robert Stashek return after earning second-team honors. Tight end
CJ Barrett was an honorable mention pick as well.
Linebacker
Mike Mascioli, a first-team honoree, will help steer the defense along with
Eric Matos who also earned all-conference accolades with an honorable mention selection. Mascioli led the NJAC in total tackles with 93 with 44 solo stops.
