GLASSBORO, NJ – The #21-ranked Rowan Softball Team will enter the 2022 NJAC Tournament as the top seed and will welcome Montclair State on Tuesday at 4 p.m. in a first-round matchup.
Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $2 for children, students and senior citizens. Admission is free for the first 75 Rowan students. There are no complimentary tickets for NJAC Championships and season passes will not be accepted.

The Profs (30-8, 15-3 NJAC) took two from NJCU on Saturday in the regular-season finale to help lock up the top spot. The sixth-seeded Red Hawks (23-16, 7-11 NJAC) earned the final playoff seed with a victory in game two of its DH at Stockton on Saturday to salvage a split.
The two teams
met here in Glassboro back on April 16th with Rowan winning both contests by an identical scores of 3-0.
Senior
Morgan Zane (.375, 36 RBI, 20 XBH) and freshman
McKenzie Melvin (.383, 41 R, 32 SB) are some of the key cogs in the Profs' offense. Zane leads the conference with eight home runs while Melvin has swiped a NJAC-high 32 stolen bases. In the circle,
Emily August is tops in the NJAC in wins (16), ERA (1.54), and strikeouts (132) while opponents are batting just .196 off her.
After Tuesday's action, play continues in the double-elimination tournament at Kean University beginning on Friday, May 5, with the championship to be decided on Sunday, May 7.
