GLASSBORO, NJ - Former Rowan pitching standout Krysti Maronski-Neufeldt '15 returns to her alma mater as assistant softball coach, with the announcement made by the Profs' head coach Kim Wilson.  The Rowan alum returns to Glassboro after two successful seasons as head coach at Randolph-Macon College.
 
Maronski-Neufeldt previously served on Wilson's staff as an assistant from 2014 to 2018 after finishing her two-year playing career.
 
"I first would like to thank Coach Kim Wilson and Athletic Director Shawn Tucker for giving me this great opportunity to return to Rowan and come back home.  Rowan University and the softball program hold a special place in my heart, and as an alumnus, it has been so impressive to see what these young women have accomplished over the years," said Maronski-Neufeldt.
 
"I cannot wait to get started and continue to invest in the development of our student-athletes - as humans, in the classroom, and on the softball field.  Rowan has a history and tradition of championship excellence and a tight knit community culture, and I could not be more thrilled to be a part of it again and continue to strive for greatness."

In her first season as the Yellow Jackets' head coach in 2025, Maronski-Neufeldt guided Randolph-Macon to the NCAA Division III World Series. RMC scored wins over No. 7 Saint Mary's (MN), No. 3 Virginia Wesleyan and the No. 4 Profs en route to the national semifinals and a third-place national finish. RMC went 42-14 with a team that featured nine All-Conference and two All-Region performers including the NFCA Division III National Pitcher of the Year (Gracie Ellis).
 
She compiled a 68-30 record in two seasons at Randolph-Macon and owns an overall head coaching mark of 195-92-1 in eight years.
 
Prior to Randolph-Macon, Maronski-Neufeldt was the head coach for six seasons at SUNY New Paltz, accumulating a 127-62-1 record and earning SUNYAC Coach of the Year honors 2023 and 2024. In 2024, she led the Hawks to a 36-8 overall record, a 17-1 conference mark and the SUNYAC Championship, which gave the program its first NCAA Tournament appearance. While in New Paltz, she coached five NFCA All-Region players, the two-time conference Pitcher of the Year, two SUNYAC Player of the Year honorees and 12 All-Conference selections.
 
Maronski-Neufeldt transferred to Rowan in 2012 after spending her first two seasons at Rider University. In her second year with the Profs, she was named to the All-Region First Team and the All-NJAC First Team, was the Most Outstanding Pitcher of the NCAA Ithaca Regional and earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team at the NCAA Rochester Super Regional. The righthander went 23-7 with an 0.89 ERA and posted a school-record 259 strikeouts.
 
The native of Woodbury Heights, NJ, and Gloucester County Institute of Technology graduate holds the Rowan records for career ERA (0.93), career strikeout ratio (7.7), single-season strikeouts (259), single-season strikeout ratio (9.25), and single-game strikeouts (16).
 
Maronski-Neufeldt graduated from Rowan with a bachelor's degree in health and exercise science in 2015 and two years later, earned a master's in college athletic administration from Coker College.
