GLASSBORO, NJ – The Rowan football team will open the 2022 season at local rival Widener on September 3, to kick off the campaign that features five home games and a first-time meeting with the University of New England.
The Profs start the year with two games on the road, at Widener, and then at Springfield on September 10 before having a bye weekend on September 17.
Rowan opens the home schedule on Saturday, September 24 when it hosts Salve Regina at Coach Richard Wackar Stadium in a 1 p.m. game during the University's Family Weekend.
The NJAC slate begins on October 1 when the Profs travel to Christopher Newport before returning home on October 8 to face TCNJ at 1 p.m.
The Profs will visit William Paterson on October 15 and then take on Kean on Saturday, October 22 at 2 p.m. in the annual Homecoming game.
On October 29, Rowan travels to Salisbury, which finished 2021 ranked 19th in the nation, for the final road game of the year.
The Profs close out the season with a pair of home games, the NJAC finale against Montclair State on November 5 at 1 p.m. and a Friday night game with New England on November 11 at 7 p.m. That game is also designated as the program's annual "Military Appreciation Day".
