GLASSBORO, NJ -- The Rowan women's lacrosse team routed Eastern, 21-2, today as the Profs had 12 different goal scorers, led by Elise Cohan with game-high five goals.

Ashley Lechliter, Molly Green, Shannen Sterner, Chloe Shea, and Hannah Lombardo each added two scores. Shea added a two assists four points while Erin Renshaw also kicked in four points on a goal and a career-high three assists.

The Profs took a commanding 11-1 lead in the first quarter as Cohan tallied three and Lechliter added two. The other Rowan goals were scored by Jamie Cutrera, Green, Julianna Corson, Lombardo, Sterner and Calista Burke.

Rowan added five more in the second quarter as Shea scored once and assisted on two goals. Cohan added two more and Green scored another while Renshaw also got into the scoring column.

Shea led the squad with six groundballs while Green contributed a team-high five draw controls.

In goal, Reilly Shaup and Mel Rodgers split halves with each making one save. Eastern keeper Kelly Steenstra made 11 stops.

The Profs will head back on the road this week as they visit Stevenson on Wednesday and Cabrini on Saturday, April 2.
