STATEN ISLAND, NY – The Rowan men's track & field team captured the 2022 NJAC Indoor Track & Field Championship at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex, marking the seventh-straight season that the Profs have claimed the conference crown.
Marquise Young won the 60-meter hurdles by running a season-best time of 8.25, which moves him into a tie for 17th on the Division III Performance list.
The Profs' 4x400 relay closed out the championship with a win, as Young,
Charlie Serrano-Juarez,
Treshan Stevenson, and
Amara Conte combined for a 3:17.57.
Rowan scored a win in the 4x200 relay, with the lineup of
Robert McKinney, Agyemang,
Isaiah Arzu and
Jah'mere Beasley running a time of 1:27.88 to set a new NJAC record.
Agyemang won the long jump title with a leap of 7.19 meters, while
Earnest Daniel took home the high jump with a mark of 1.95 meters and
Ahmir Johnson claimed first in the triple jump (14.17 meters).
Conte clocked in at 48.45 to win the 400 meters and
Justin Kelly won the conference title in the 3000 meters, only his second event of the season, by running an 8:37.88.
In the 60 meters, Agyemang broke the school record in the prelims, clocking a 6.87, and then ran 6.94 in the finals to place third. Teammate Beasley placed second in the 60 with a PR of 6.89 and followed with another PR in the 200 meters where his time of 21.60 gave him another second-place finish on the day. In that race, Agyemang took third with a 21.87.

- Kevin Lauer was third in the mile run (4:14.81), notching a PR in the process.
- Jake Kolodziej was third in the 800m with a 1:56.22
- Johnson was second in the long jump, putting down a top effort of 7.07 meters for a season best
- Ian Bain eclipsed a PR with a top throw of 15.06 meters to finish fourth overall in the weight throw
- The DMR of Peter Argerakis, Joe DeVito, Kolodziej and Sean Eisenhower placed third in 10:32.37
