STATEN ISLAND, NY – Rowan's Men's Track & Field Team was in action in two events over the weekend. On Friday, the Profs were at the FastTrack National Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Complex. On Saturday, the team headed up to the Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University.
There was no team scoring at both events.

Some Prof Highlights from Friday's action:

Jeff Stewart etched a PR in the 800 meters (2:02.55), his best indoor time.

Marquise Young hit a PR in the 200 meters (indoor and outdoor) in a time of 23.16, giving him a top 10 NJAC mark.

Peter Argerakis ran a 4:26.88 in the mile, giving him a PR in the event and a 12th-best time in the conference.
On Saturday, Rowan turned in quite the day.
- The 4x400 relay team of
Charlie Serrano-Juarez,
Nana Agyemang,
Jah'mere Beasley, and
Amara Conte clocked in a time of 3:12.80, marking it the third fastest in Division III history, a new school record, and the sixth-best time in an indoor season. Rowan finished second in the event.
- Singularly, Conte improved on his 400 meters, as his time of 48.21 moved him up to fourth in Division III. Beasley hit his PR in the 200 meters, stopping the clock at 21.86.
The squad now gears up for the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships at Ocean Breeze on Monday, February 21st starting at 4 p.m.
