Ja'Zere Noel scored 20 points to lead Rowan to its sixth straight win as the Profs defeated Rutgers-Camden, 86-63, in NJAC men's basketball action on Wednesday night. The Profs are now 6-2 overall and own a 4-0 conference record.

Noel connected on 5-of-9 from the field and made 9-of-10 from the foul line, to go along with eight rebounds.
Josh Wright netted 13 points and junior guard
Marcellus Ross added 10 for Rowan.
Rowan led for practically the entire game, taking the early 4-3 lead, that turned into a 13-point run and a 15-3 Profs' lead. At halftime, Rowan was up by 45-30 as it converted 54 percent from the field.
In the second half, the Profs went up by 18, 54-36, on a layup from
D'Andre Vilmar. The closest Rutgers-Camden (1-8; 0-4) would come was 56-44 after the Scarlet Raptors used a 6-0 run, but the Profs built it right back up again, as Wright converted a three-point play to take a 63-44 lead at 11:43. Noel's free throws at 9:22 gave the visitors a 21-point margin, 69-48, and the Profs coasted the rest of the way. Rowan's biggest lead was 28 points, 76-48, after a layup by
Stretch Hawkins.
Next up for the Profs is a home game vs. Ramapo on Saturday with a 1 p.m. start at Esby Gym.
