Jack Watson claimed his third NCAA 'B' standard time in as many days while
Joe Rucci added one of his own as Rowan concluded the weekend WPI Gompei Invitational on Sunday.
DAY 3 RESULTS | OVERALL RESULTS
Watson finished first in the 200 backstroke (1:48.65) for his third 'B' cut time of the weekend. Rucci hit a NCAA 'B' cut time in the 200 fly, both in the prelims (1:50.68) and then again in the finals (1:50.44).
Kevin Yanagisawa was second in the event (1:52.26).
The 400 free relay team of Watson,
Paul Riter,
Alex Volin, and
Michael Fracchiolla was first with a time of 3:05.74
Other highlights include: Volin scoring a second place in the 100 IM (52.41), Riter a second place in the 100 free (46.85), and
Jimmy Kundrats with a first place in the 50 breaststroke (25.70).
Both the men's and women's teams combined for 4111 points to finish third out of nine scoring teams. Bryant was the overall winner with 8037 points and WPI, the host, was second with 5034.
The team resumes action next month when the Profs host Ramapo on Saturday, January 14th at noon.
