Meet Highlights
GLASSBORO, NJ -- Rowan notched its first win of the season with a 170-92 NJAC win over visiting Montclair State Saturday afternoon at the Tony Lisa Natatorium.
The Profs were led by three individual multi-winners in
Ella Pennington,
Emma Padros, and
Jordan McChesney. Pennington had three first-place finishes for the third consecutive meet while Padros and McChesney each claimed first in two events.
Pennington claimed top honors in the 100 backstroke (58.51), the 200 backstroke (2:05.02) and the 200 IM (2:13.35) while Padros was first in the 500 free (5:23.75) and in the 1000 free (11:07.28).
Padros was second in the 200 IM (2:18.12) as well. McChesney scored wins in the 50 free (24.62) and 100 free (54.03).
Pennington and McChesney teamed up with
Gabby Buck and
Bella Stefanowicz to claim the 200 medley relay (1:49.88). McChesney and Buck joined
Elizabeth Jones and
Laura Jones in winning the 400 free relay (3:42.33).
Buck was the winner in the 100 butterfly (1:00.86) and
Elizabeth Jones earned a first place in the 200 free (2:03.10), and a second in the 100 free (55.99).
Lauren Walls was victorious in the 200 butterfly (2:17.44) as well.
The team heads to Stevens on Friday, November 11th for the team's next meet.
