Chad Yates and
Gil Ferreira each had a goal and an assist to lead Rowan to a 4-0 win over Stockton in the NJAC men's soccer regular-season finale. The Profs ran their unbeaten streak to five consecutive games, secured the third seed in the NJAC Championship and will host sixth-seeded NJCU in a first-round game on Saturday, October 29 at 5 p.m.

Dylan Aportela made two saves to post his fifth shutout in a row while Rowan (9-5-4; 4-2-3 NJAC) outshot Stockton (10-6-3-; 2-5-2) by a decisive 21-4 margin.
Turlough Gartlan got the Profs on the board as he collected the ball off a Stockton defender and scored on a blast from 20 yards out.
Chad Yates netted his team-leading 11th goal of the season at 51:54.
Gil Ferreira started the play, carrying the ball across the top of the box and fed it to
Michael Ferrara, and he sent a one-touch pass to Yates, who headed it in.
Rowan added two more in the final moments of the game, with
Alex Ferrara knocking in a loose ball from close range at 87:05. Ferreira provided the final score of the match just a minute later after he connected on a cross from Yates.
The Profs have gone 4-0-1 in their last five games to earn the spot in the conference championship, outscoring their opponents, 15-0.
