Ashley Lechliter scored a career-high seven goals to lead Rowan to an 18-5 win over Kean in NJAC women's lacrosse action today. Classmate
Dara Hennessy added three goals in the win.

The Profs (2-5; 1-1 NJAC) scored the first four goals of the game, with two from Lechliter. After Kean (2-6; 2-2) tallied its first, Rowan scored five more to own a 9-1 lead at halftime with
Julianna Corson and
Jamie Cutrera each contributing two goals in the first half.

Rowan continued the scoring to start the second half, with consecutive tallies from
Julia Grlica, Hennessy and
Shannen Sterner to increase the lead to 12-1.

Kean netted three in a row, but Hennessy scored her second at 17:15 to build the lead to 13-4 and then Lechliter took over, tallying the Profs' next five goals. The final one came with 4:36 remaining to provide the final margin.

"It was such a complete team win. We came out from the start and controlled the momentum of the game," said head coach
Lindsay Delaney.

Corson had two goals while Cutrera and Sterner each tallied two and handed out an assist. Grlica had one goal, two assists and a team-high three ground balls, with
Elise Cohan chipping in a goal and two assists.
Erin Renshaw also added an assist in the win.
Rowan goalkeeper
Reilly Shaup made five saves on the day while the Profs outshot the Cougars, 29-16.

The Profs return to action on Tuesday with a trip to Stockton.
