CAMDEN, NJ -- Five players reached double figures as Rowan won its third in a row with a 100-57 NJAC victory at Rutgers-Camden Wednesday night.
Grace Marshall paced the Profs with 13 points.
Nicole Mallard,
Dakota Adams, and
Kate Herlihy all added 12 points while
Sam Rinaldi kicked in 11. Rowan shot just over 47% from the floor and also took advantage 30 Scarlet-Raptor turnovers to score 33 points from them. RU also scored 20 second-chance points off of 17 offensive rebounds.
Rahzirah Blocker had a game-high 18 points for Rutgers-Camden.
Rowan drained six three-pointers in the opening quarter to get out to a 29-15 lead.
Kristina Johnson hit all three of her treys in the frame to help spark the visitors. Rutgers-Camden dug into the Prof lead in the second, getting to within 38-28 with 6:41 remaining. The Profs then closed the stanza on a 15-0 run to open up a comfortable lead they held the rest of the way.
On the glass, Mallard pulled down a team-high seven boards and added four steals.
Kennedy Brown and
Savanna Holt each dished out three assists.
The team travels to William Paterson on Saturday in a conference tilt starting at 1:00 p.m.
